Production Lead Hand

BMP Brampton has immediate openings for a Production Lead Hand. The successful candidate will have 5 years Lead Hand experience in a custom sheet metal fabrication environment.

The Production Lead Hand will work closely with the Scheduler and other department Lead Hands / Managers to ensure product is run efficiently, on time with superior quality. Experience in an ISO quality environment a must. The Lead Hand will also co-ordinate the production schedule within their department and report to Management where issues may arise. The production Lead Hand will liaise with the HR Manager to recruit, evaluate, coach and mentor employee’s within the department. The Lead Hand will ensure that the department and the workers within the department are working in a safe manner and following the established procedures.

The successful candidate will have a specialization in one or several of the following areas: Shearing, Punching, Bending, Welding, Hardware, Small Assemblies, Large Assemblies, Electronics, Paint Line and/or Prototyping.
