Quality Inspector

BMP Metals Inc., a Brampton based fully integrated custom precision sheet metal fabricator with additional specialized services in engineering design, CNC machining, milling and turning, electromechanical assembly, paint coatings and plastic injection moulding is currently seeking a Quality Inspector.

The successful candidates will have:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a quality inspection function in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment
• The ability to inspect parts and to identify and react to non-conforming conditions when required.
• Experience in the use of inspection tools, (calipers and micrometers) as well as knowledge of measuring and calibrating practices.
• Strong blue print reading skills
• Strong understanding of Metrology
• Proficient with CMM and Faro Arm
• Able to prepare First Article Inspection reports, PPAP, etc.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001: 2008
• Intermediate level computer skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy
• Computer Literacy and proficiency with MS Excel
• Previous auditing experience would be an asset
